When you book, we will reply back confirming your booking, usually the same day. Please note : You don’t have a booking unless it has been confirmed. A 50% deposit is taken as part of the confirmation process

Accessibility
The building was converted with the expectation that wheelchair access would be required for the ground floor.Hence three bedrooms are downstairs along with an en-suite wet room. All doors are wide enough for standard wheelchair access and the main area is open plan with no steps.Unfortunately providing wheelchair access upstairs was beyond us, so the two bedrooms upstairs, the snooker area and the snug all are only accessed via the helical staircase
Eco
The Church was converted from a derelict state at a point when the available options were demolition or renovation.
While we are incredibly pleased we took the route to save the building, the practicalities of such a building do not tie in with modern eco building practices. If you were going to build an eco friendly house you wouldn’t start from here. Having said that, we have done what we can with substantial expenditure on insulation, sewage treatment and lighting. Pets
We welcome well-behaved pets at The Church. There are plenty of great walks in the surrounding countryside and forestry for your four-legged friends to enjoy during your stay.

However, please be aware that we have a variety of livestock in the fields around us including wildfowl, sheep, goats and horses. Our back patio is enclosed, but our garden is not, so dogs need to be on a lead there.

Forestry starts across the road from us and this area is available for dog walking.
Legal
The Scottish government has introduced legislation that regulates the self catering hospitality sector. We have been granted a license (Number SL00020F) which limits our capacity to 10 people.
